Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic lead their sides into a make-or-break Game 7
The final showdown between the Denver Nuggets and OKC Thunder is all set to unfold on Sunday. Both the teams have forced game 7 by putting their all in the series. The winner of Thunder vs. Nuggets Game 7 will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Semifinals.
The OKC Thunder haven’t been at their usual best so far in the series. After a dominant regular season and first-round sweep, OKC have struggled to maintain momentum in this series. However, they have one last chance to make things right on Sunday. The side also has the home court advantage in the game 7.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has performed well for the Thunder. He scored 32 points, and got 6 assists in game 6. However, often his team has relied heavily on SGA rather than contributing as a whole. Further pressure on SGA to pull his team through might help in the semi-finals, but not so much in the finals.

The one time NBA champs had Oklahoma City in the game 6 of the series. Jokic, Christian Braun, and Jamal Murray scored 20+ points to guide their side to victory. However, several Nuggets stars remain out of rhythm, an issue that could haunt them in Sunday’s Game 7.
OKC Thunder
Nikola Topic remains the only absentee for the home side for the game 7.
Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets have a long list of injury, and things don’t look good on the fitness side of things. Aaron Gordon, who has come clutch for the Nuggets throughout the playoffs, is doubtful due to a hamstring issue. Hunter Tyson is also listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.
While Russell Westbrook and Jamal Murray are also not 100 percent fit. Westbrook, who’s been in and out of the lineup, is managing a right-hand sprain that’s affecting his availability. Jamal Murray who scored 25 points in the game 6 is battling illness.
Both teams have been neck-and-neck this season, each securing five wins in their ten meetings, setting the stage for a perfect Game 7 decider.
