NBA Playoffs 2025 Timberwolves vs. Warriors Game 5 Preview- Warriors Seek Series Comeback From the Edge While Stephen Curry Continues To Be Out of Action

The Dubs are trailing the series 1-3, and hence, the forthcoming fixture is a do-or-die game for them.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will once again host the Golden State Warriors for Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinals series on Wednesday, May 14. The Dubs are trailing the series 1-3, and hence, the forthcoming fixture is a do-or-die game for them. While they wouldn’t let the only opportunity to survive slip away, the Timberwolves aim to make the most of their home court advantage.

Minnesota Timberwolves Preview

The Minnesota Timberwolves were underdogs before the beginning of the series. In fact, they had an unfavorable start to the series. However, the sixth-seeded team went on to record three consecutive wins, and are now just a victory away from making it to the conference finals. If they win, it would be the second consecutive season they make a trip to Round 3, and overall third time in the history of the franchise.

Golden State Warriors Preview

The Golden State Warriors, who headed into the series on the back of a 4-3 win over the Houston Rockets in the opening round of the playoffs, had a remarkable beginning to the second round. However, as luck would have it, they lost their star guard Stephen Curry in the opening game, and since then, things have gone downhill for them.

Curry was sidelined for a couple games with a hamstring strain, and while there were earlier reports that he would be back by now, would remain out of action as the Dubs find themselves on the brink of elimination. It is a do-or-die game, and while the seven-time champions would aim to make the most of the opportunity, their fate still hangs by a thread.
