The Golden State Warriors are back at Chase Center for a crucial Game 6 against the Houston Rockets on Friday night. Houston survived an elimination with a 131-116 victory over Golden State and they are one win away to force Game 7 in the first-round playoff series. Steph Curry and Co. would look to wrap up the series to enter the conference semifinals.

The Rockets have dropped only one first-round playoff series in the last five attempts, and the only loss came against the Warriors in 2016 when Steph Curry went on to win the NBA championship. The previous game was a dominant show from the Rockets, and three starters highlighted 20-point performances in Game 5.

After conceding a heavy lead, Steve Kerr called Curry, Butler and Green to the bench to keep them fresh for a home game. Their bench players stepped up, and three of them scored in double figures, including Moses Moody’s team-high 25 points. The Dubs haven’t lost a first-round playoff series after taking a 3-2 lead, and they would look to extend this run on Friday in front of the home crowd.

The Warriors will have a clean injury report for Friday’s home matchup. Jimmy Butler is off the injury report after missing out on Game 3 due to a left pelvic contusion.

Jonathan Kuminga’s status has been upgraded after missing the previous game due to illness. The young forward is available for the potential series-clinching playoff game against the Rockets.

Jae’Sean Tate- Out- Right Ankle Impingement
Jock Landale- Out-Right Knee Contusion

The Rockets have listed two players on the injury report. Jock Landale (Right Knee Contusion) is back on the injury report and will be out from Friday’s matchup. Jae’Sean Tate has also been ruled out with a right ankle impingement.
