“Buddy, Say Hello to Steph” – Steve Kerr Hilariously Introduces Buddy Hield to Steph Curry To Make a Point

The Golden State Warriors absolutely decimated the Phoenix Suns who have been one of the most disappointing teams this season, and that’s an understatement. The final score of the contest was 133-95 and the Warriors were led by Stephen Curry who had 25 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and Brandin Podziemski who put up 22 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The Warriors are currently the 6th seed in the Western conference and are tied with the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, and L.A. Clippers with a 47-32 record, trying their best to stay in the top 6 spot to compete in the playoffs. With the emergence of Podz in the last several games, Jimmy Butler’s presence, and complimentary pieces like Moody, and Kuminga, the Warriors can take on anybody in the Western Conference, and who knows? Maybe Draymond Green’s claim of the Warriors winning the championship this season, might not be so far off.

What Did Steve Kerr Say to Buddy Hield?

During the game against the Phoenix Suns, Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr reminded Buddy Hield of who he was playing alongside with. Kerr was mic’d up during a timeout, and he introduced Buddy Hield to Steph Curry in a hilarious exchange.

“Buddy, Steph Curry. Steph, Buddy Hield. I want you guys to meet each other. Say hello to Steph, he’s the greatest shooter in the history of the world. Wide Open. I love you Buddy, I love you.”

Buddy Hield is a knockdown shooter himself, and is one of the best three-point shooters in the NBA. However, Hield sometimes tends to miss wide open players and tends to go into isolation mode. His lack of court vision can at times be frustrating for his teammates, and coach Kerr just wanted to put out the fact that if a guy like Stephen Curry is wide open, the ball should immediately go to his hands as Curry is the greatest shooter we or anyone else has ever seen.
