LeBron James might take the court with Bronny James in their hometown Cleveland
LeBron James is set to experience yet another life moment when the Lakers take on Cavaliers. On Wednesday night, the LA Lakers will be on the road to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in their fifth game of the season.
This would offer a once-in-a-lifetime moment for LeBron James to share the court with his son at his home arena. It has been confirmed that Bronny James will be a part of the squad against the Cavaliers. However, any playing time will be at coach JJ Redick’s discretion.
Fans are certainly looking forward to seeing LeBron and Bronny share the court in Cleveland, a city where James led the home side to their first-ever NBA championship. Being born in Akron, Ohio, about 40 miles from Cleveland, it will certainly be a special moment for James and his family.
It is worth noting that LeBron and Bronny are only the fourth father and son duo that have played a game of professional sports together.
At the age of 39, LeBron James is still putting up astounding numbers. In the current season, the LA Lakers star has averaged 20 points, 7.5 assists, and 7 rebounds per game. While this may not have been his best season so far, one shouldn’t forget that James is 39 years old and playing his 22nd professional season.
The Lakers have played four games so far, and have performed better than expected. They are currently boasting a record of 3-1 in the league. As mentioned earlier, the team will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in their next game. That said, it will be interesting to see if they can grab their fourth win of the season.
