Another day, another set of exciting NBA matchups. Tuesday night brought a mix of thrilling victories and disappointing losses for teams across the league.

The Dallas Mavericks, led by Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic, edged out the Minnesota Timberwolves in thriller. The Brooklyn Nets, despite a strong start, couldn’t hold on to their lead and fell to the Denver Nuggets in overtime.

Mavericks 120, Timberwolves 114

The Dallas Mavericks secured a hard-fought 120-114 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite Anthony Edwards’ hot start, the Mavericks took control in the third quarter, with Kyrie Irving leading the charge. Luka Doncic, although struggling with his shot, played a crucial role in maintaining the lead late in the game.

Irving finished the game with 35 points, 4 rebounds and five assists. Meanwhile, Doncic scored 24 points and contributed with 8 rebounds and nine assists.

Nets 139, Nuggets 144

The Brooklyn Nets suffered a disappointing 144-139 overtime loss to the Denver Nuggets. Despite a strong start led by Dennis Schröder, the Nets couldn’t sustain their momentum and allowed the Nuggets to claw back into the game.

Nuggets’ star Nikola Jokic finished the night with 29 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists. Meanwhile, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon also contributed with 24 points each.

Kings 113, Jazz 96

The Sacramento Kings earned their first road win of the season, defeating the Utah Jazz 113-96. Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with 28 points, while the Jazz struggled to contain the Kings’ offensive firepower.

Warriors 124, Pelicans 106

The injury-riddled Golden State Warriors held on despite a sloppy performance, including 22 turnovers, to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans 124-106. Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 31 points, but the Warriors’ balanced scoring led by Buddy Hield and Waters proved too much for New Orleans. Hield finished the night with 28 points, including 7-of-11 three-point attempts.
