The Warriors need momentum
The Warriors enter the affair after a 25-point win against the Chicago Bulls as they nailed 25 triples. The victory broke a two-game losing streak but the team’s issues run deep. They have a 10-19 record since a hot 12-3 start. Their biggest issue has been identifying a hot hand apart from Stephen Curry, whose play has also declined a bit. Their defense has taken further after an injury to Draymond Green but their biggest problem is the up-and-down play of Buddy Hield, which leaves the backcourt with a big hole. Curry needs more support and the organization may get active in the trade market. However, it is getting late to salvage the season.
The Lakers are an enigma
The Lakers enter the contest after a resounding 21-point win against as Anthony Davis scored 24 points. They have won four out of their last five games but most of their victories this season have come against struggling squads. The team still has one of the best duos in AD and ageless LeBron James whereas Anthony Reaves has been huge on the offensive end. However, their defense can be a huge problem, an issue that can be solved by the duo of Jarred Vanderbilt and Dorian Finney-Smith. However, they need a Center to inject more toughness into the squad which can vanish against elite squads.

The Warriors have been suffering for many weeks and can be vulnerable against the strong forward combination of the Lakers. However, the Lakers aren’t exactly overwhelming favorites due to their struggles on the road. But still, it seems unwise to write them off against a clueless Warriors squad. This can be a close game with the total in the 222-233 range.

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
