Davante Adams trade rumors : Steelers are in the mix

Steelers will join Saints and Jets for trading Davante Adams

Multiple teams have expressed a strong interest about Raiders’ star receiver Davante Adams.

According to Jeremy Fowler, a new team has express an interest in trading for the receiver : The Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steelers are joining a group of teams composed of the New-Orleans Saints and the New-York Jets which have already started discussions with the Raiders. Raiders and Steelers are playing each other during Week 6.

But, a trade might not happen before next week at earliest.

Davante Adams for a spark on offense

Steelers are a legitimate destination for Davante Adams since they need a spark on offense. They currently rank 26th in points per game and have only passed the 20-points mark once this season.

Bringing Adams would help Justin Fields to have a reliable target.

Davante Adams embodies the prototype of a modern NFL wide receiver, blending elite route-running, physicality, and hands that rarely let him down.

He’s a master in the art of route-running, often leaving defenders grasping at air with his deceptive footwork and perfectly timed cuts.

Whether it’s on quick slants or intricate double moves, Adams has an innate sense for creating separation, a skill that makes him a nightmare to cover one-on-one.

Another standout feature of Adams’ game is his physical play.

At 6’1” and over 215 pounds, he’s strong enough to compete for contested catches, often using his hands and upper body to shield defenders. Adams’ hands are another hallmark—he’s known for his reliability in clutch situations, rarely dropping passes and making difficult catches in high-pressure moments.
