2025 NFL Week 5 MNF Chiefs vs Jaguars Player Props and Parlays

The Chiefs take on the Jaguars in week 5 MNF!

It’s once again time for a Monday Night Football (MNF) showdown. This time, we have a duel in Duval in the Chiefs vs Jaguars week 5 clash. Kansas City makes the long trip down to Florida after a week 4 thrashing of the Baltimore Ravens, a game that finally featured some of the magic from the old Chiefs’ offense.

Jacksonville, meanwhile, has gotten its season off to a terrific start with a 3-1 record, following a resounding win over the 49ers in week 4. Looking at the upcoming game, here are some of the best same-game parlays and player bets to consider.

Chiefs vs Jaguars Same Game Parlays

Here are a couple of same-game parlays for the MNF game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars as per FanDuel.

Same game parlay 1

Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+170) + Travis Etienne Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+125) + Patrick Mahomes 225+ Passing Yards (-192)

Total Parlay Odds: +650

Travis Kelce has been Patrick Mahomes’ go-to option throughout their careers together. Although Kelce may have regressed over the past couple of seasons, he still remains one of the top targets in the end zone for the Chiefs. If KC can get its offense going once again in this game, look for the Mahomes-Kelce connection for 6 against the Jags tonight.

Travis Etienne is having an impactful season behind Trevor Lawrence in the backfield this year. Averaging nearly 16 carries per game, Etienne has 2 touchdowns from just four games. He also has one receiving touchdown to his name.

Patrick Mahomes has started this season in great form. Although he was on the losing side in the first two games, the Chiefs seem to have hit a different gear in weeks 3 and 4. Mahomes has crossed 225 passing yards twice this season, and very nearly came to eclipsing that once again when he threw for 224 yards against the Giants.

Same game parlay 2

Chiefs win (-215) + Total points under 45.5 (-115) + Trevor Lawrence 175+ Passing Yards (-330) + Brian Thomas Jr. 50+ Receiving Yards (-160)

Total Parlay Odds: +522

Although the Chiefs are coming into this game at 2-2, and the Jaguars are 3-1, KC has found momentum over the last couple of weeks on offense. A week 4 win over the Ravens was surely a confidence booster, and the defense remains as dominant as ever.

Total points under 45.5 seems like a good bet considering both teams are playing well on defense. In fact, the Jaguars and Chiefs currently rank 4th and 5th in points conceded per game at an average of 18 and 19, respectively, whereas both offenses are putting up just about 24 points a game.

Trevor Lawrence has been so-so under center this season. He has just 5 passing touchdowns and 4 interceptions through 4 weeks, but has also eclipsed 225 passing yards only once and 200 only twice.

Brian Thomas Jr. is the WR1 on the Jaguars’ roster, but he has also struggled to put up big numbers. He is averaging just 3 receptions a game, and his receiving yards in the past three games hover around 50.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have dialled it up recently, and the veteran signal caller has 7 touchdowns in his first four games. With Worthy back in the mix and the rushing game struggling, look for Mahomes to end up with multiple touchdowns again.

Treveor Lawrence hasn’t been at his best from the pocket this year. In four games, he already has 4 interceptions, and going up against Steve Spagnoulo and his Chiefs’ defense won’t be any easy task.

We all saw what Worthy did in his first game back since missing out on a couple of weeks. Against the Ravens, Worthy had 5 receptions for 83 yards. The speedster has a great chance at a chunk play if his connection with Mahomes comes back.

Travis Etienne is likely to end the game as the highest rusher. Etienne is the top rusher for the Jaguars and is averaging 16 carries per game. On the other hand, neither of the Chiefs’ running backs has made any significant contributions so far.

The Chiefs vs Jaguars game on Monday Night Football promises to be a fitting finale to week 5. It will be a big win for either team in the context of the season going ahead.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
