2025 NBA Conference Finals Schedule – Who Faces Whom, Dates, Start Times and TV Schedules

The NBA 2024-25 season has reached its Conference Finals stage. What started as a 30-team contest has narrowed down to four teams. Two teams in the Eastern Conference, and two in the Western Conference are now set to engage in best-of-seven series to book a NBA Finals berth. The New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers will be up against each other in the East. In the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Minnesota Timberwolves will lock horns to advance to the summit clash. 

The Conference Finals are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 20, with the Thunder welcoming the Timberwolves at Paycom Center, Oklahoma City. While the final two teams are not guaranteed, unlimited fun, thrill and intense on-court rivalry is assured. Having said that, let’s have a look at the schedule for both the conferences. 

NBA Eastern Conference Finals Schedule

The Eastern Conference Finals will have the New York Knicks clashing against the Indiana Pacers in a highly-anticipated series. The series which begins on Wednesday, May 21, will be the fourth time both teams will be up against each other in the Eastern Conference Finals. In the previous three such series, the Knicks have emerged victorious in two, while the Pacers have registered one win. 

Talking about the 2024-25 season, the New York Knicks finished at third spot in the standings while the Pacers finished fourth. While the former began their playoffs campaign by locking horns with the Detroit Pistons, the latter were paired against the Milwaukee Bucks. 

New York then pulled off a 4-2 win over the Boston Celtics in the Semifinals. On the flip side, the Pacers dominated the table-toppers Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1. As both teams stand just one step away from the coveted title, one can expect thundering clashes. Let’s see how the Conference Finals schedule looks like for the Knicks and the Pacers.

NBA Western Conference Finals Schedule 

In the West, we will have the OKC Thunder going up against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Conference Finals series. The series is set to begin on Tuesday, May 20, at Paycom Center, in Oklahoma City. This will be the second encounter between them in the playoffs. 

The first time both teams locked horns in the playoffs was in 1998 Western Conference First Round. During that time, the Thunder were known as Seattle SuperSonics, who ended up dominating the series 3-2. 

Talking about their respective campaigns in the 2024-25 season, the Thunder ended the season as table toppers and were paired against the Memphis Grizzlies. On the other hand, the Wolves, the sixth seeds, began the playoffs campaign against the LA Lakers. As the Thunder ended up against the Denver Nuggets in the semifinals, the Wolves took down the Warriors to move to the conference finals. 

The Thunder have been absolutely lethal throughout the season. They are expected to continue their form to make it to the NBA Finals. It clearly means that the Timberwolves have a tough series ahead. However, the kind of gameplay they have displayed in the previous two rounds, it would be wrong to underestimate them. However, let’s see how their schedule looks like-
