Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford are leading the race of the 2025-26 NFL MVP after week 13!

It was an exciting Week 13 in the NFL with all the games, including the special triple-header on Thanksgiving Day, followed by the Black Friday game between the Eagles and the Bears. The curtain was then brought down on this week’s action with the Patriots romping to a 33-15 win over the Giants on Monday Night Football (MNF).

So, with that, there is plenty to look forward to as far as who the new favorites are for the regular season MVP award that will be handed out at the NFL Awards ceremony in February.

2025-26 NFL MVP Odds Through Week 13

The next time football is played, it will be the Thursday Night Football (TNF) prime-time event, but more importantly, it will also be the beginning of Week 14 in the NFL. That means there are only 5 weeks of the regular season remaining. Following the performances of both Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford, coupled with their respective result in Week 13, it is the former who has reclaimed the top spot in the latest NFL MVP odds.

After Week 13, Maye leads the league in passing yards (3,412), completion percentage (71.5%), as well as passer rating (111.9). His 23 touchdowns put him fourth in the league, while his 6 interceptions are also on the lower side. The second-year Patriots’ signal caller has led New England to the best record in the league entering Week 14 with 11 wins and just 2 losses.

Matthew Stafford (+125)

Matthew Stafford has slipped just a little after a subpar performance against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Nevertheless, Stafford has been having an amazing season and will continue to be in the conversation for the league MVP barring any catastrophic incident.

The Rams quarterback, even at age 37, is one of the top signal callers in the game. Stafford currently ranks fourth in the league in passing yards (3,073), first in passing touchdowns with 32, and has thrown just 4 interceptions in 12 games this season. He is also second only behind Drake Maye with a passer rating of 111.7.

Dak Prescott (+1600)

Dak Prescott is leading the Cowboys back into the conversation for the playoffs with a three-game win streak that includes victories against the Eagles and the Chiefs. Prescott currently has 3,261 passing yards from 12 games, which is second only to Drake Maye.

The Cowboys quarterback has a 69.3% completion percentage and a 102.4 passer rating, with a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 25:8. Prescott has not only continued to team up well with CeeDee Lamb, but his chemistry with newly acquired George Pickens has also been a massive boost for the Cowboys.

Love has a passer rating of 104.3 and a completion percentage of 67%. However, he has thrown only 19 touchdowns in 12 games, but has managed to protect the ball well with just 3 interceptions. With Love under center, the Packers are currently 8-3-1 and second in the NFC North.

The fifth place for the MVP odds at this stage of the season goes to Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who just broke the record for the most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in the NFL. Allen continues to execute at a high level, not just through the air, but on the ground as well.

The Bills’ signal caller has thrown for 2,832 yards in 12 games, a 69.4% completion percentage, with a 99.8 passer rating and 30 total touchdowns (19 passing and 11 rushing). However, his 10 interceptions are a bit high compared to the others on this list.

Caleb Williams (+5000)

And last, but not least, in sixth place at the moment is the Chicago Bears quarterback, Caleb Williams. The Bears have surprised one and all this season, and their Black Friday win over the Eagles means they are on a 5-game win streak. Moreover, Williams has led the Bears to the number one seed in the NFC.

The second-year signal caller has 2,722 passing yards and a passer rating of 88.2. He has completed 58.1% of his passes and has thrown just 5 picks. That said, Williams also has just 17 passing touchdowns from 12 games.

Heading into Week 14 of the 2025-26 NFL season, there is still a chance for other players to challenge the top contenders, but time is certainly running out.
