2024 NBA Cup semifinal: Bucks vs. Hawks- Preview, team news, and more

This NBA Cup semi-final will begin at 4:30 PM ET.

The Las Vegas is set for an NBA Cup semi-final showdown on Saturday. The Milwaukee Bucks will take on Atalanta Hawks in the first semi-final.

Both teams are coming into this game after having a dream run in group stages and quarterfinals. The Atlanta Hawks are riding high on the back of Tray Young’s sensational season.

During Group Play, they stunned Eastern Conference heavyweights Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, while they overcame New York Knicks in the quarterfinals at Madison Square Garden to set up a semifinal clash against Bucks.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have not looked back since starting the season with an 0-6 record. They maintained a perfect 4-0 record in Group Play and withstood the challenge from the Orlando Magic in the quarterfinal.

The Hawks’ latest injury report comes as a big relief for fans. Key players Bogdan Bogdanovic (left quad contusion), De’Andre Hunter (right knee injury management), and Trae Young (right Achilles tendinitis) are all listed as probable.

However, Jalen Johnson’s status remains uncertain as he deals with a right ankle sprain.

The Bucks also have a few injury concerns ahead of the game. Team’s superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury status has been changed to probable. Meanwhile, the availability of MarJon Beauchamp (hamstring), Khris Middleton (ankle), and Chris Livingston (ankle) remains questionable.
