Let's get to know about the biggest blowout victories in the NBA playoffs history.
After the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Cavaliers also booked their name in the NBA records after a 55-point blowout victory over the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the first round of the NBA playoffs. Recently, the Thunder dismantled the Grizzlies by 51 points, and the Cavs updated the record just two weeks later.
Thunder’s 51-point margin was the largest Game 1 win in NBA playoff history, and the Cavs’ 55-point margin remains the second-largest Game 4 win in the playoffs. The Cavs also became the sixth team to win a playoff game by at least 50 points.
At one stage, the Cavaliers had a 60-point lead, which could have been the largest postseason victory. But their deficit dropped by five points at the end of the game. Cleveland’s win remains the third-biggest margin of victory in NBA postseason history. The Cavs also broke the record for the most lopsided playoff sweep ever. Cleveland outscored Miami by 122 points.
