Warriors have “the deepest team in the League” according to Andrew Wiggins

Charles Taudin

Andrew Wiggins is really confident on this version of Warriors team

Following Warriors first victory in this 2024-25 NBA season, Andrew Wiggins had high praises for his teammates and team.

In post-game press conference, Wiggins declared that the Warriors have “the deepest team in the League”.

This 139-104 victory over a Blazers team from which nobody really expects anything, is by no means a sufficient sample.

Yes, the Warriors have talent on the court, but even though a 12-man rotation is a good problem for a head-coach, there is still some lack on both side of the ball.

Social media mock Wiggins for his statement

For this kind of overreaction, you can count on social media an particularly “X” to react quickly on those kind of statement.

And this time is no different and fans were mocking Andrew Wiggins on this.

What’next for the Warriors ?

On Friday, October 25, The Warriors will travel to Utah and Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz at Delta Center with starting game time at 9:30 pm ET.

The Jazz will try to get their first victory of the season after being defeated by the grizzlies at home Wednesday night 126-124.
