The 39-year-old point guard recorded his 12,092nd assist on a 3-pointer by rookie Victor Wembanyama in the third quarter to surpass Jason Kidd in second-most career assists.

Over his 20-year career, which has seen him play for seven different teams, Chris Paul has assisted 173 different teammates, with his former Clippers teammate Blake Griffin receiving the most (1,157 assists).
