Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton dropped a classic play against the Milwaukee Bucks, which was hailed by NBA fans and experts. The player himself described it as “a football play.” Haliburton’s 4-point play helped Indiana beat Milwaukee 115-114 on Tuesday night.

Haliburton got a handoff-style inbound pass with 3.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter, and the 25-year-old guard made a three-pointer over Giannis Antetokounmpo while being fouled. His clutch basket assured Indiana would tie the game, and later, Haliburton made the free throw for a winning four-point play.

Milwaukee got an opportunity to win the game, but Giannis Antetokounmpo missed a 3 at the buzzer. As per ESPN, It was only the fifth instance in the regular season since 1998 when a team converted a four-point play while down three in the final 10 seconds of a game.

“It’s like a football play,” Haliburton said. “It was great to see it work. The first time we ever ran the play in training camp two years ago, I made the shot the same way. I haven’t got the ball since. I usually hate running the play.”
