Picks and Predictions

Despite making the playoffs, the Phoenix Suns were one of the league’s biggest disappointments last season. They finished with a 35-49-2 against the spread (ATS) record. The trio of Durant, Booker, and Beal did not live up to expectations, raising concerns about their performance.

The Los Angeles Clippers face significant challenges with Paul George gone and Kawhi Leonard sidelined due to injury. Derrick Jones Jr. is a good defensive addition. However, James Harden must shoulder the offensive load to keep the team competitive.

Although the Clippers have home-court advantage, they are likely to be overmatched by a healthy Suns team who added Tyus Jones to the mix. With improved chemistry in their second year together, Phoenix is well-positioned to secure a decisive victory in this season opener.
