Cooper Flagg is a hot prospect in the NBA landscape and is gaining further attention with the NBA Draft just a month away. The former Duke forward had something to say about Tyrese Haliburton in a recent informal interview with a media group.

The 18-year-old was asked who remains the most underrated player in the NBA. Cooper Flagg instantly answered Tyrese Haliburton. The 25-year-old who was recently given an official tag of ‘being the most overrated’ was appreciated by Flagg.

Cooper Flagg said, “I would say Tyrese Haliburton, because people hate him and call him overrated all the time, and say he’s not that good. But he’s such a good basketball player.” Tyrese Haliburton was voted as the most overrated NBA player by his peers in an anonymous poll.

However, his performances since then have been clutch and far from ‘overrated’. NBA fans praised Cooper Flagg’s sharp ‘ball knowledge’ after his Haliburton take. The forward is all set to create history next month, likely being the first draft pick.
