The Oklahoma City Thunder are set to lock horns with the Philadelphia 76ers in an NBA 2025-26 regular season clash on Sunday, December 28. This will be the first time that these teams will come against each other in the current NBA season. The table-toppers, Thunder are entering the clash on the back of a two-game losing streak at the hands of the San Antonio Spurs. This marked the first occasion when the reigning champions had to suffer two consecutive defeats in a row this season.

On the other hand, we have the Philadelphia 76ers, the fifth-seeded Eastern Conference team which is also coming off a two-game losing streak. In their most-recent game, the Sixers slumped to the Chicago Bulls 109-102. The game saw Joel Embiid scoring 31 points, while Tyrese Maxey came up with 27 and Paul George had 15.
