OKC Thunder vs Memphis Grizzlies Injury Report April 20, 2025 – Major Concerns Around Ja Morant and GG Jackson Ahead of West’s First-Round Playoff Clash

Akash

OKC Thunder are all set to host Memphis Grizzlies who are fresh off an adrenaline win from the Play-In tournament. The first seed of the West will take on the eighth seed at the Paycom center in Oklahoma City. The matchup is quite far away from evening out due to a variety of factors. The most important being OKC has had a week long rest while Memphis have barely had any day off.

The Grizzlies faced the Dallas Mavericks in the final game of the Play-In tournament. This was after they were defeated at the hands of the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. GSW advanced to the NBA Playoffs 2025, but Memphis fell further for the post-regular-season berth. Ja Morant led his side to a victory against the Mavericks by 120-106.

This ensured their clash against the OKC Thunder in the first round. OKC finished as the first seed in the Western Conference having quite a significant regular season with a record of 68 wins and 14 losses. The face off between Memphis Grizzlies and OKC Thunder is balanced with both the sides being stacked with young talent across their rosters.
