Nuggets vs. Clippers Injury Report- Can the Nuggets Closeout the Series in Game 6 of the First Round?

Eric Divakaran

The L.A Clippers vs the Denver Nuggets is arguably the best and the most competitive series we’ve seen in the first round of the playoffs. Both these teams have legitimate chances of reaching at least the NBA finals, and so far the Nuggets have looked slightly better as they have taken a 3-2 lead in the first round matchup.

In their previous game, in Game 5 of the series, the Denver Nuggets practically could not miss. There were knocking down everything they put up, and Jamal Murray once again looked like his vintage self, and dropped 43 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds, making 17 of his 26 shot attempts (65.4%) and shooting 8-14 from beyond the arc. Surprisingly enough, Jokic had one of his worst shooting performances as he shot just 4-13 from the field, but still somehow managed to get a triple-double. But what stood out the most was Russell Westbrook’s hot night from the field. He scored 21 points coming off the bench, and he has played his role perfectly so far, providing a boost of energy for his team and knocked down shots when the team needed him to.

The Game was over by the end of third quarter, and it was pretty evident that no matter what the Clippers tried, they just could not get a stop. The Clippers shot the ball well, but were horrible on the defensive end, something we are not used to seeing with Kawhi Leonard led teams. Game 6 is a must-win game for the Clippers, and they will play at their home court tonight, which should help them get the desperately needed win. With that said, let us take a look at the injury report for Game 6 of the first round.

Nuggets vs. Clippers Injury Report

Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets only have one player listed on the injury report who will miss out tonight’s game. DaRon Holmes II is out for tonight’s game against the Clippers as he is dealing with a right Achilles tendon injury. However, all of their key players will be available tonight, and they will have a good chance to close out the series.

Los Angeles Clippers

The L.A Clippers do not have anyone listed in the injury report, and are fully ready to take on the Nuggets. Game 6 is a must-win game for them, as if they lose, their chance of competing for the NBA title will have to wait for another season.

I cover the National Football League and things cannot get better than that. I always dreamed to play football or basketball professionally since I’m built like a Running Back. But now that I can’t, since I’m technically in the “Unc” age, I thought why not pick a career in sports industry? So here I am, doing what I love, and hoping that the Commanders win the Super Bowl. I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
