The New York Knicks captured the NBA Cup Final championship with a 124–113 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, powered by strong performances across their starting lineup.

San Antonio began the night with energy, taking a slim lead through three quarters. The Spurs scored 30 in the opening frame and held a 61–59 advantage at halftime. By the end of the third, they were still ahead 94–89. But the Knicks surged late, outscoring San Antonio 35–19 in the fourth quarter to secure the title.

For the Spurs, Harrison Barnes contributed 11 points in 23 minutes, shooting 4‑of‑9 from the field and adding three rebounds and two assists. Luke Kornet was efficient, scoring 14 points on 7‑of‑9 shooting while grabbing six boards.

De’Aaron Fox led the backcourt with 16 points, hitting two three‑pointers and handing out nine assists, though he also committed five turnovers. Knicks’ Starting Five Anchor Championship Performance

The Knicks’ starters delivered across the board. OG Anunoby led with 28 points in 40 minutes, shooting 10‑of‑17 and hitting five three‑pointers. He added nine rebounds and three assists, finishing with a +7 rating. Karl‑Anthony Towns posted a double‑double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, while also recording two steals.

Josh Hart contributed 11 points on 5‑of‑7 shooting, with eight rebounds and three assists, plus two steals and a block. Mikal Bridges added 11 points and five assists in 33 minutes. Jalen Brunson, the floor general, scored 25 points on 11‑of‑27 shooting, while adding eight assists and two blocks. His +15 rating underscored his impact in closing the game.

New York shot 47 percent from the field, connecting on 49‑of‑105 attempts. They hit 15‑of‑40 from three‑point range (38 percent) and converted 11‑of‑15 free throws. The Knicks dominated the boards with 59 rebounds, including 23 offensive, compared to San Antonio’s 42. Their defensive rebounding and second‑chance opportunities proved decisive.

The Spurs, despite strong individual numbers from Fox and Castle, could not match the Knicks’ depth. Wembanyama’s absence from the box score highlighted the challenge San Antonio faced in rim protection. New York’s rebounding edge and perimeter shooting ultimately tilted the contest.

With the 124–113 win, the Knicks secured the NBA Cup Final crown. Their starters combined for 91 points, 43 rebounds, and 20 assists, reflecting a collective effort that overwhelmed San Antonio in the closing minutes.
