The Cavs overcame an 18-point deficit to beat the Nets, who entered the fixture after a surprising win over the Lakers. Donovan Mitchell, De’Andre Hunter, and Ty Jerome missed the game due to injury. Cam Thomas led Brooklyn with 27 points. Cameron Johnson added 17 points, and Ziaire Williams had 14.
Tyrese Haliburton’s four-point play with 3.4 seconds left assured a memorable win for the Pacers against the Bucks. The Indiana star made a fadeaway 3-pointer and completed the free throw for a one-point lead. Haliburton finished with 14 points and 10 assists after a three-game absence.
Pascal Siakam scored 25 points and 12 rebounds, and Bennedict Mahturin added 17 for the Pacers. Brook Lopez dropped a team-high 23 points for the Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Both teams are now tied at fourth place in the East.
The New Orleans Pelicans stopped a four-game slide with a 127-120 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Zion Williamson dropped a triple-double with 22 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. He had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists in the fourth quarter.
CJ McCollum scored 23 points, and Trey Muphy III had 21. Rookie center Karlo Matkovic chipped in 15 points, and Jose Alvarado scored 14. Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with a game-high 29 points. James Harden finished with 25 points and 17 assists. Zubac added 19 points and 11 rebounds. Kris Dunn and Derrick Jones Jr. scored 11 points each.
