The NBA Finals 2025 is all set to begin from this week as Indiana Pacers and OKC Thunder set their sights on the ultimate championship trophy. Both teams have endured lengthy championship droughts stretching over multiple decades. The upcoming series serves as a major opportunity for both teams to end that.

OKC Thunder have been by far the most consistent team when it comes to this season. They’ve been a dominant force, crushing the regular season and most of their playoff series barring a tough battle with the Denver Nuggets

Their postseason began with a commanding 4-0 sweep over the 8th-seeded Memphis Grizzlies. However, against the Nuggets, the semi-finals’ series went till the game seven. And having won that, the Thunder went back to their usual domination, winning 4-1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Indiana Pacers started their playoffs journey on shaky rounds struggling against the Detroit Pistons. Had a few close games gone the other way, the Pacers might not even be in this conversation right now. Pistons were very close to knock the now NBA Finalists out.

Still, basketball rarely deals in ifs and buts. Pacers showed their class stomping their way through against the Cleveland Cavaliers by 4-1 in the semis. While during the Eastern Conference Finals, they knocked out the New York Knicks by 4-2.

The 2025 NBA Finals sets up an ideal clash between two young, hungry squads. They have deserved to be where they are right now. With tip-off just days away, both teams will aim to stay locked in, focusing on execution rather than fast-forwarding to glory.
