Pascal Siakam Opens Up On Forcing Game 7 in NBA Finals

Following the game, Siakam opened up about the victory in Game 6 which forced the series to a decider. It is for the first time since 2016 that the Finals series will go on till Game 7. The three-time NBA All-Star reflected upon the crucial victory and revealed what it would take to win the ultimate battle and take the trophy home. He said that now that both teams have played each other enough, there is no secret anymore, and everything comes down to hard play.

Siakam told reporters, “I think at this point of the year, I mean, it’s all about hard play. I mean, we’ve played with each other enough now. I don’t think there’s secrets out there like when we play. So, I think it’s just about who wants it more, like just playing hard and leaving it all out there on the floor and living with the results. Like I I think that’s all you can really say.”

He went on to say that they have worked really hard for the opportunity and they are privileged to get at the highest. The 31-year-old added, “We worked so hard for this opportunity and you’re privileged enough to get it at the highest level ever. And it’s just a blessing. We’re fortunate to be here.”

Notably, the final clash of the NBA 2024-25 season is scheduled on Sunday, June 22, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.
