Brooklyn Nets ended their three-game road trip with a win over the injury-hit Pelicans, thanks to Cam Thomas who dropped 17 points and 7 rebounds. Noah Clowney added 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench. The Nets were close to beating the Clippers and Caves in the last two road games but fell short. Brandon Ingram chipped in 24 points for the Pelicans in the loss. With a 105-107 loss, they dropped their fifth straight game to fall 3-8.

Rockets 107 Wizards 92

Alperen Sengun collected 27 points for a second straight game to lead the Houston Rockets 107-92 win over the Wizards. The 22-year-old also added 17 rebounds and hit 12 of 19 shots. Jalen Green poured in 18 points as six players recorded in double-figure. The Rockets have now posted to 7-4 on the season to extend their home-winning run to three matches. Kyle Kuzma returned after five games and led the Wizards with 18 points on 7-for-18 shooting in 24 minutes.

Spurs 116 Kings 96

San Antonio Spurs moved on from a heartbreaking one-point loss to Jazz as they recorded their third straight win at home. Victor Wembanyama’s double-double helped the Spurs to a 116-96 win over the Sacramento Kings. Spurs center accumulated 34 points and 14 rebounds. Julian Champagnie scored 13 points, with Devin Vassell and Chris Paul adding 12 each. De’Aaron Fox paced the Kings with 24 points while Domantas Sabonis hit 23 points and 11 boards.

Thunder 134 Clippers 128

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s career-high 45 points for Thunder snapped the Clippers’ four-game winning streak. Thunder are 3-0 this season on the second night of a back-to-back and improved to a 9-2 record in the first 11 games. Oklahoma City had a 13-point advantage after the first half and Ivica Zubac’s three-point play with 42 seconds left reduced the deficit to 130-128. However, Gilgeous-Alexander racked up a pair of free throws to wrap up this game. Jalen Williams also contributed 28 points while Norman Powell paced Clippers with 31 points.

Bulls 113 Cavaliers 119

Cleveland Cavaliers extended their winning run to a record 12 matches in the NBA with a hard-fought win over Chicago Bulls. Donovan Mitchell dropped a season-high 36 points while Darius Garland chipped in 17 points. Evan Mobley hit 15 points and 11 rebounds. Caves became only the 8th NBA team to start a season with 12 straight wins. Garland rolled in a layup with 24 seconds left, and Mitchell made two free throws to help close it out. Zach LaVine amassed 26 points for Chicago with Coby White and Nicola Vucevic hitting 20 points.
