Who will miss Sunday's game between the Wolves and the Bucks? Read on to know.
The Minnesota Timberwolves will be up against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, December 21, at Target Center in Minneapolis. This will be the first time these teams will be up against each other in the current NBA season. The Wolves will enter the gameplay on the back of a significant victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The matchup saw a combined offensive effort from the Wolves squad overshadowing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 35-point effort. With the victory, the Wolves improved their seasonal record to 18-10.
On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a two-game losing streak, marking their fourth loss in the last five games. In their most-recent game, they slumped to the Toronto Raptors, and dropped their seasonal win-loss record to 11-17. The game saw Myles Turner, Kevin Porter Jr and Bobby Portis dropping a combined 67 points. However, Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram came up with 24 and 29 points, respectively, to steal victory from the hands of the hosts.
Given how they handed the reigning champions their only third defeat of the season, the Wolves will enter the gameplay riding high on confidence. The Bucks, on the other hand, are going through a slump, and they would want to get out of it on Sunday. However, before anything, let’s get into the injury reports and predicted starting lineups for both teams ahead of their clash on Sunday.
