Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard lead Milwaukee Bucks to victory against Philadelphia 76ers
The Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers locked horns in their NBA season opener on October 23rd at the Wells Fargo Center. Leading the team from the front, Giannis Antentokounmpo made an impact for the Bucks. On the flip side, the 76ers were without their star man Joel Embiid and Paul George.
Antetokounmpo scored the first four points for his team. Tyrese Maxey responded by dropping five points which was followed by Bobby Portis dropping nine points off the bench in the first quarter. The Bucks were hot in the second quarter and took a lead of 58-47 as Portis continued his good performance.

Damian Lillard was also in some good form as he dropped 30 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Antentokounmpo on the other hand contributed to 25 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists. While the 76ers fell short on their opening day, Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. were their best scores with 25 and 21 points respectively.

While Philadelphia 76ers lacked offensive pressure, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Tyrese Maxey did their best to fill the gaps as Joel Embiid and Paul George missed out on the game. Oubre Jr. scored 21 points while securing two rebounds, and one assist.
