“Leave Me Alone, Man” – Jimmy Butler Banters Buddy Hield, Says He’d Die for Warriors After Clutch Game 4 Win

Akash

Jimmy Butler and Buddy Hield had a massive contribution in the fourth game of the Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets playoffs series. The duo put up a staggering effort to lead the Warriors in the front seat of the series, where the 7 time NBA champs have taken a 3-1 lead against the Rockets.

Butler, who was out due to a pelvic injury following a controversial play from the Rockets, came back to his best on Monday night. Warriors have missed their side’s Robin while Batman (Steph Curry) had to carry the offense. However, Butler’s performance inspired the Warriors towards a thrilling win.

The bond that the Warriors players share with each is special. Steve Kerr has initiated that close-knit relationship among his players. Jimmy Butler after moving to Golden State early this year has gotten close to all his new teammates. But he is closer to shooting guard Buddy Hield.

The duo’s special brotherly bond is no secret due to their public banter. Similarly, Buddy Hield crashed Jimmy Butler’s post match interview with “Jimmy Butler” chants. Butler in response said, “Leave me Alone, Man”. The hilarious exchange was captured on live TV and has gone viral, especially among the Dubs nation.

Jimmy Butler Showers Love for Dubs

Jimmy Butler while continuing his post match interview revealed that he would die for the Dubs. It was an extreme expression of affinity that not many modern players show for their locker room. The small forward also appreciated the efforts of his teammates and showered praises for them.

Butler said, “I would die for these guys. It is real fun (here). I got my joy back, as some would say. I always say that we got the most confident guys. Anybody can put the ball in the basket, but we are locking in the defensive side of the ball. We are playing hard, when we limit our turnovers we are hard to beat.”

Jimmy Butler was the key orchestrator of the game 4 Warriors win, as it was his last ditch effort that saved the day. With dying seconds and Sengun shooting a two pointer, Butler lapped the rebound from nowhere, even beating rebound machine Steve Adams. This resulted in a 109-106 win for the Dubs.
