LeBron James is averaging 24.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game this season.
The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Los Angeles Clippers in the second game of their back-to-back on Sunday, March 2. In the first meeting on Friday, February 28, the Lakers outclassed their counterparts 106-102 to register their fifth straight win.
The game saw birthday boy Luka Doncic leading the charts with 31 points, two rebounds and five assists. LeBron James, on the other hand, scored 28 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. Apart from them, no other player could cross the ten-point mark.
Talking about the Clippers, Ivica Zubac led the scoresheet with 27 points and 16 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard added 21 points while James Harden finished with 18 points. However, despite their combined effort, the sixth-seeded Clippers couldn’t prove themselves for the Lakers, who are now seeded in the third spot in the West.
Coming back to the upcoming game, it will be the last time the Lakers will clash against the Clippers in the NBA regular season. While the Lakers will aim to continue their winning momentum, their rivals will aim to bounce back and avenge their past defeat. Ahead of the highly-anticipated clash, the Lakers released their injury report, according to which the JJ Redick side could be without their key players.

The Lakers continue to remain short-handed for the forthcoming meeting against the Clippers. LeBron James has been listed as questionable for Sunday’ clash with left foot injury management.
Meanwhile, their newly-signed star Luka Doncic is also questionable due to left calf injury management.
Notably, after missing his first All-Star Game appearance with an ankle injury, James has been in action since the Hornets game. Before the recent clash, he scored 33 points, and had 17 rebounds and six assists against the Timberwolves.

Notably, despite being 40 years old, James is showing no signs of slowing down and has been averaging 24.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game this season. However, if he plays, we can see James creating history. Remaining just 18 points short of 50,000 career points, James could become the first ever player to do so.
