Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan Dual Logoman Card Shatters All Sports Card Records With Multimillion-Dollar Heritage Auction Sale

A unique Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan card has set a new benchmark in the sports collectibles market, overtaking even the most iconic baseball cards to claim the crown as the most valuable card ever sold.

The 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection dual Logoman autographed patch card featuring both NBA legends sold for $12.932 million through Heritage Auctions early Sunday morning.

The piece is the only Logoman card to have Jordan and Bryant together, combining jersey logo patches with their signatures.

Heritage initially valued the card at $6 million heading into the auction. That figure already placed it above the previous record for a basketball card, but the final price more than doubled expectations.

Before this sale, the top basketball card record belonged to a Stephen Curry 2009 Panini National Treasures Logoman autographed patch rookie card, which sold privately for $5.9 million.

Within a public auction, the highest confirmed price was $3.12 million in 2022 for Luka Doncic’s 2018 Panini National Treasures Logoman rookie card. That Doncic piece had earlier been traded privately for $4.6 million.

Dual Logoman Rarity Sets All-Time Auction Record

The Jordan and Bryant Logoman card also surpasses the individual highs for each legend. Jordan’s personal record came in June 2024 when his 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Ultimate Logos Logoman autographed patch card sold for $2.93 million.

For Kobe Bryant, the highest mark had been set just weeks earlier, when his 2015-16 Panini Flawless Logoman autographed patch card fetched $2.3 million in a private deal.

Collectors prize Logoman cards because they feature the NBA logo patch cut from player-worn jerseys. This particular Michael Jordan patch adds further rarity, being the gold variant used during the NBA’s 50th anniversary season in 1996-97. With both stars’ signatures and game memorabilia captured in one piece, the card represents a one-of-a-kind milestone.

According to GemRate, Jordan remains the most searched athlete on eBay month after month, generating $34,108,318 in card sales between January and July 2025. That total is nearly $10 million more than the second-place athlete, Shohei Ohtani.

Kobe Bryant also continues to command strong demand, ranking fourth with $15,239,311 in card sales during the same period.
