Strengths

Elite scoring efficiency on all levels
Lethal mid-range game with soft touch on floaters, leaners, and pull-up jumpers
High basketball IQ, making smart leads and limiting turnovers
Strong off-the-ball movement as well, who excels as a backdoor cutter and as a catch-and-shoot threat
Tenacious defender with active hands and lateral quickness
Could become a secondary playmaker for the team, who is effective in pick-and-roll or pick-and-fade situations

Weaknesses

Undersized guard who could have problems in the future, now that Guards themselves are 6’5″ and above
Limited right hand finishing

As per the latest Mock draft, Richardson could be drafted as the No. 17 overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves. While he is still a raw talent and needs to add more to his arsenal, Richardson is a polarizing prospect and a swiss-army-knife, who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor.
