Stephen Curry makes history!!!
The best shooter of all-time, Stephen Curry has made another NBA milestone. The Warriors superstar becomes the only player in NBA history to make 4000 three-pointers, a record which might go untouched for generations like the Wilt Chamberlain’s 100 point game.
The stat sounds delusional but that is the greatness of Chef Curry. For more context, James Harden has made the second most threes in NBA history, but still trails Curry by over 850 threes. The gap is so large that Harden is closer to the player ranked ninth than he is to catching Curry.

Stephen Curry took 369 games to score his first 1,000, 229 games to score his second set, 196 games to get to 3k and 222 for the 4k milestone. Notably, Stephen Curry also holds the record for the fastest player to reach every three-point milestone from 1400 to 4000 threes made.
There have been only three seasons where players have averaged 5.0 or more three-pointers made per game in a single season. All three belong to the Warriors star, Stephen Curry.
| Year | Three-pointers made (per game) |
| 2020-21 | 5.3 |
| 2018-19 | 5.1 |
| 2015-16 | 5.1 |
Only 18 seasons in NBA history, where players are averaging 4.0 or more three-pointers made per game in a single season (Minimum 50 games played). Out of those 18, Curry owns nine of those.
