Gulshan Sharma

Murray missed six straight games with right hamstring inflammation before making a return in the Nuggets' victory over the Grizzlies.

Denver Nuggets (49-32) will take on No. 2 seed Houston Rockets (52-29) on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the NBA regular season. The top three spots are confirmed in the West and the Nuggets are targeting the fourth seed. If the Nuggets win, they will finish the season as No. 4 seed.

This matchup is crucial for Denver as they can slip to Play-In if they lose and the Warriors, the Timberwolves and the Grizzlies win their respective games. This game will be as important as Game 7 of a playoff round. If they win, they will meet the LA Clippers in playoffs, irrespective of the result at Chase Center on the same day.

On the flip side, the Rockets, who finished 11th in the 2023-24 season, made a solid comeback and are finishing the season as No. 2 in the West. The Rockets have nothing to gain or lose from this game but they can spoil Denver’s party. Let’s find out the key details from the injury reports of both teams on Sunday.
