Cooper Flagg’s dominance during the 2024-25 NCAA season made him a household name even before the NBA Draft began. He emerged as the standout talent, making waves both with his on-court brilliance and off-court attention. He is regarded as the best talent coming out of the 2024 class. Dallas Mavericks picked him as No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft.

Yet his college journey ended on a bitter note as the Duke Blue Devils crashed out of the tournament in shocking fashion. In the Final Four against Houston, Blue Devils led the game by 6 points with just 35 seconds left. Most No.1 seeds would’ve sealed the deal, but Duke crumbled under pressure. Flagg’s missed free throws in the end proved costly for the ACC Tournament winners.
