Who is in and who's out for Cavaliers vs Clippers on Sunday?

The Cleveland Cavaliers will welcome the LA Clippers for an NBA 2025-26 regular season clash on Sunday, November 23. This will be the first time that both teams will be up against each other in the ongoing season. The Cavaliers will head into the game on the back of a resounding 120-109 win over the Indiana Pacers in an NBA Cup group stage game. With the victory, the Cavs improved their tally to 11-6, and recorded the second win over the in-season tournament. 

On the other hand, the Clippers defeated handed a 131-116 loss to the Charlotte Hornets in their most-recent game. The matchup saw James Harden drop a stunning franchise-record 55-point performance. With his gameplay, Harden became the first player in history of the league to set scoring record for two franchises, including Clippers and the Houston Rockets. With the victory, the Clippers ended their three-game losing skid and improved their tally to 5-11 in the season.

Lonzo Ball has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Clippers with injury management. 

Jarrett Allen has been sidelined against the Clippers with a finger injury. This is the second straight game that he will miss. 

Sam Merrill has been ruled out, marking his third straight game he will miss, due to a sprained right hand. 

Craig Porter Jr. is a new addition to the injury report and is listed as out with a hamstring injury. 

In addition, Max Strus underwent surgery to repair a Jones fracture in his left foot, keeping him out for a good start of time. However, he is expected to be back soon.

Kawhi Leonard is expected to return to action on Sunday, after missing ten games straight with an ankle/foot injury. 

Bogdan Bogdanovic is listed as questionable for the upcoming game against the Cavs with a hip injury. He missed seven straight games due to the same. 

Jordan Miller could miss his fourth straight game with a hamstring injury. 

Derrick Jones Jr sustained a sprained MCL in his right knee. However, he is expected to be reevaluated in around six weeks. 

Bradley Beal is rehabbing a fractured hip that will keep him out for the rest of the season.
