Chicago Bulls star was asked to assemble an all-time NBA Mount Rushmore.

Lonzo Ball was talking on Angel Reese’s podcast ‘Unapologetically Angel’, where he made a controversial statement about Kobe Bryant. The Bulls guard went on to name Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal and Stephen Curry.
Los Angeles native revealed that he doesn’t have Kobe on his Mount Rushmore of all-time greats. He gave a reason behind it and said that the Lakers star has the most missed shots in the NBA history.
Lonzo Ball said, “I love Kobe Bryant, but he was never the best player to me when I was watching him. Just because he’s got the most misses ever, you know what I’m saying? I don’t know. But back to Curry—his resume, the way he changed the game—he’s the best shooter ever. Carried USA. There ain’t nothing that he hasn’t done, and he’s got the rings to back it up too. So, I don’t know.”
We have seen generational legend in the NBA, and it’s obvious to have a different perspective from the current generation. NBA players from the 80s and 90s love Michael Jordan, and players in the 2010s love Kobe Bryant. For the new generation, LeBron James is their GOAT. Steph Curry is also on the same list and even, Lonzo Ball mentioned his name by saying him “best shooter ever” during the show.
Chicago Bulls star was asked to assemble an all-time NBA Mount Rushmore. Lonzo Ball picked LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal and Stephen Curry. He didn’t include Kobe Bryant in the GOAT list.
Meanwhile, the ex-Lakers legend is the biggest name in NBA history. Bryant scored 14,481 field goals which is second-highest in NBA history. LeBron James surpassed him this season and achieved the top spot. On the other side, Ball’s brother LiAngelo was asked the same question and he picked Kobe Bryant in the all-time Mount Rushmore list.
Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball made a great return this season after missing NBA action for two years due to knee injuries. The 27-year-old recently sustained a wrist injury but made a comeback against Orlando Magic on Wednesday. It was his first game after missing 15 games and Lonzo Ball managed six points, four steals, three assists, two blocks and one rebound in 15 minutes.
