The Atlanta Hawks will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at home, State Farm Arena, in Atlanta, on Saturday, October 25, in a back-to-back fixture. The Hawks began their NBA season with a blowout 138-118 loss to the Toronto Raptors. However, in the very next game, they bounced back and recorded a 111-107 victory over Orlando Magic on Friday. 

The game saw Trae Young posting 25 points, one point, and six rebounds, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker posted 19 points, and one rebound. Onyeka Okongwu came up with 17 points, and four rebounds, while Jalen Johnson and Mouhamed Gueye came up with 12 and 13 points, respectively. 

The Oklahoma City Thunder, who entered the 2025-26 season on the back of a historic record in the previous campaign, got off to a remarkable start. After an almost flawless preseason, the reigning champions defeated the Houston Rockets in an overtime thriller. In their second game, the Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers in another overtime match. 

The game saw Shai Gilgeous-Alexander drop an MVP-like performance and post 55 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Apart from him, Ajay Mitchell dropped 26 points, three rebounds, and four assists, while Aaron Wiggins came up with 23 points and nine rebounds for the Thunder. In the upcoming game, the Thunder will aim to continue their on-court dominance, and extend their winning streak to three games.
