Stanford Cardinal forward Maxime Raynaud is set to step into the professional world after getting selected as the 42nd pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings . Hailing from Paris, France, Raynaud finished the 2024-25 season with an average of 20.2 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. He was named 2025 ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earned the 2025 All-ACC First Team as well as an AP All-America Honorable Mention. Before attending Stanford University in 2021, the 22-year-old played for Espoirs Nanterre in France.

He averaged 12.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in his pre-career. A member of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Valencia, Raynaud helped his team win gold at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece. Along with it, he was also a member of the 2019 FIBA U16 European Championships’ Silver Medal winning team.

This is not it, Raynaud plays for France’s national team and has competed at several levels of their junior program. He was also a member of the team who won gold at the 2023 FIBA U20 European Championship.
