Who's in and Who's out for the Pelicans and Lakers?

The New Orleans Pelicans will be up against the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA 2025 Cup group stage clash on Friday, November 14. The hosts, Pelicans, will head into the game on the back of a three-game losing streak, with their most recent loss coming against the Portland Trail Blazers. In their last NBA Cup matchup, they suffered a narrow loss to the LA Clippers. They will not only want to put their losing skid to a loss but also register their first victory in the ongoing in-season tournament.

The Los Angeles Lakers, on the other hand, suffered a blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in their most recent game. This marked their second performance in the last five games and dropped them to the fifth spot in the standings with an overall tally of 8-4. Talking about their NBA Cup campaign, the Lakers got an edge over the Memphis Grizzlies in their last game. They would want to add another victory in order to improve their position in the regular season standings as well as to maintain dominance in the in-season tournament.

Both teams are aiming to give a tough fight to their rivals, and here we will go through the listed injuries that could alter the outcome for them.
