Bradley Beal gets on Suns fans' radars.
The 2024-25 season isn’t going the way Suns would have wanted. Despite having stars like Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal, they have found it difficult to find consistency in terms of winning games. The Suns wanted to change the fate, and add one or two superstars, including Jimmy Butler to their roster during the trade deadline.
While it was later revealed that Kevin didn’t want to get traded mid-season, Beal made it to quite a few headlines. He was benched following a blowout loss to the Pacers in January this year. However, despite having everything gone wrong for both Beal and the Suns, the 31-year-old refused to waive his no-trade clause.
The Suns have continued their struggles since then, but Beal has been very optimistic. Recently, he admitted that he has several reasons to smile, which includes his no-trade clause. Beal’s unfazed attitude didn’t sit well with the fans, who believe that his underperformance this season has been one of the biggest reasons for the Suns’ struggles.
In one of his recent interviews, he told ESPN, “This game is fun. I try not to let nobody take the joy out of it for me. It’s very hard. It’s hard. We’re all human beings, man. We have every right to shut down. We have every right to question what’s going on.”
He added, “You have every right to say, ‘Why me?’ But I feel like that just drags you down a little bit more than you need. I’m still playing in the NBA, I still have the best job in the world, and I still have my no-trade clause. So I’m smiling every day.”
The Suns’ fans took to X to slam him for the same.

Bradley Beal might be one of the least competitive NBA players I’ve ever seen. The talent is there the will to compete is not
I'm just chillin, I know I'm killing my organization, my teammates, our fans. But it's all good I'm getting paid.

He's the worst player in the league.
There should be an investigation on how that man managed to get a no-trade clause 🤣

Notably, after Beal got out of the Suns’ trade talks, the Suns were left with limited options and had to move players like Josh Okogie and Jusuf Nurkic, while failing to acquire any big name.
Despite having quite a few superstars on the roster, they are having a turbulent season. With 31 wins and 36 losses, they are seated on the eleventh spot of the Western Conference standings.
While superstar Kevin Durant is averaging 26.7 points this season, Beal is averaging 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game this season. He has missed 20 games this season due to various injuries.
The 31-year-old was in action during the 122-106 win over the Kings on Friday, March 14. He chipped in 15 points, three rebounds and two assists with 5/9 FGs and 4/7 three-pointers.
