The 2024-25 All-NBA Team is here!
The NBA announced the All-NBA Teams for the 2024-25 season on Friday, May 24. The 2024-25 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander along with Denver Nuggets’ center Nikola Jokic led the 2024-25 Kia All-NBA First Team. Apart from them, Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo, Cleveland Cavaliers’ guard Donovan Mitchell and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum have been named in the First Team.
Four of five players, including the Greek Freak, SGA, the Joker and Tatum, were unanimously voted by all ballots for First Team selection. Notably, a panel of 100 global reporters consisting of 100 global NBA reporters and broadcasters vote for the squads. These selections are made irrespective of their positions, and to be eligible for it, a player must have played 65 games, similar to the postseason awards.

Voters selected five players for the First Team, five players for the Second Team and five players for the Third Team at any position.

The All-NBA First Team consists of-
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks- 500 Points
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder- 500 Points
Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets- 500 Points
Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics- 500 Points
Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers- 414 Points.
Antetokounmpo became the 9th player since the merger (1976) to be named First Team for seven straight seasons. Apart from him, Tatum earned his fourth consecutive All-NBA First Team selection. Mitchell, on the other hand, became the third player in the history of the Cavs’ to be on the All-NBA First Team after Mark Price and LeBron James.

The players who have made it to the All-NBA Second Team are-
Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves- 318 Points
LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers- 289 Points
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors- 244 Points
Evan Mobley, Cleveland Cavaliers- 238 Points
Jalen Brunson, New York Knicks- 232 Points
The Golden State Warriors superstar, Stephen Curry, recorded his 11th All-Team selection, while the Lakers icon extended his selection tally for most selections to 21. This is the first time that Mobley has made it to the All-Team while Brunson and Edwards recorded their second straight Second Team selection.

Cade Cunningnam, Detroit Pistons- 223 Points
Karl-Anthony Towns, New York Knicks- 172 Points
Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers- 79 Points
Jalen Williams, Oklahoma City Thunder- 73 Points
James Harden, LA Clippers- 68 Points
As for the All-NBA Third team, Haliburton received his second straight selection, while Cunnigham and Williams earned their first honors. Towns earned third selection in Third Team while Haliburton got his second straight call. This is the eight time that James Harden has been picked in an All-NBA Team.
