Recién nominado al Salón de la Fama, con ceremonia prevista para septiembre, Dwight Howard sigue dando de qué hablar.<\/p>

Tras el anuncio de su participación junto a Shaquille O’Neal en el evento en Springfield, el ex tricampeón al Mejor Defensor del Año reveló ahora su deseo de volver a jugar en la NBA. Un sueño algo atrevido que compartió en una entrevista con Basketball Insiders.<\/p>

“Sería una locura porque sería histórico, yo sería el primer Hall of Famer aún en actividad. Sería un gran acontecimiento. Sería el primer Hall of Famer activo jugando en la NBA.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Campeón de la NBA<\/a> con los Lakers en 2020, por supuesto que D12 se imagina regresando justamente a la franquicia angelina la próxima temporada. Y ya tiene una idea de cómo podría aportar al equipo.<\/p>

\n

“Luka anotaría en cada posesión, nosotros marcaríamos en cada ataque. Sería muy difícil detenernos, a mí y a Luka, en el pick and roll.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Llevando el análisis aún más lejos, Dwight Howard destacó su físico y su talento en los bloqueos.<\/p>

“Mis bloqueos son muy fuertes. Lo único que los rivales podrían hacer sería cobrar faltas ofensivas. Luka tendría tanta libertad saliendo de mis pantallas que eso elevaría su juego a otro nivel.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Fuera de las canchas de la NBA desde 2022 y con 39 años bien vividos, el exjugador del Magic todavía parece confiar en su poder atlético.<\/p>

“Mi corte hacia la canasta llamaría mucho la atención, porque nadie querría que yo hiciera una clavada. Eso le daría una energía enorme al equipo.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>

Esta no es la primera vez que Dwight Howard habla sobre regresar a la NBA. Exiliado en Taiwán desde hace más de dos años, el excampeón del concurso de clavadas ya había intentado volver a la liga el verano pasado. A pesar de lo improbable, algunos usuarios en betano<\/a> aún esperan este tipo de apuestas.<\/p>
