Les Warriors, qui entameront leur reprise de saison NBA le 25 Octobre avec un choc face aux Suns de Phoenix, devront ils subir l’absence de Draymond Green ? Faisons le point.<\/h2>

Alors que Draymond Green continue de se remettre d’une blessure à la cheville, sa participation au match d’ouverture de la saison des Warriors contre les Phoenix Suns semble de plus en plus compromise si on en croit les dires de Steve Kerr.<\/p>

Steve Kerr, le coach de Golden State<\/a>, à déclaré ce lundi sur l’émission « Willard and Dibs » de 95.7 The Game<\/a>.<\/p>

« Je pense que la soirée d’ouverture est incertaine. Il ne jouera pas cette semaine. Mais il se porte vraiment bien. Il se déplace beaucoup mieux ; il est parti en déplacement avec nous le week-end dernier et a effectué des entraînements individuels. »<\/p><\/blockquote>

Draymond Green s’est blessé à la cheville gauche en atterrissant sur le pied de son coéquipier Jonathan Kuminga lors d’un match au Chase Center à la fin du mois de septembre. Depuis, il a été limité lors du camp d’entraînement de la franchise. Alors que les Warriors traversent leur calendrier de pré-saison de cinq matchs (trois succès en autant de rencontres) l’inquiétude monte.<\/p>

Mais côté Warriors, l’heure n’est pas à la précipitation pour le retour de leur âme défensive :<\/p>

Je ne suis pas excessivement préoccupé par le fait qu’il joue lors du match d’ouverture ou la deuxième semaine de la saison, quand cela viendra »<\/p>\n

« C’est une longue année. Nous voulons simplement que Draymond soit en bonne santé, car évidemment, nous avons besoin de lui. Lorsqu’il est sur le terrain, nous devenons l’une des meilleures équipes défensives de la ligue.<\/p>\n

« S’il n’est pas là au début, ce n’est pas grave. Nous avons beaucoup de profondeur et nous sommes enthousiastes à ce sujet. Je pense que nous serons beaucoup plus capables cette année de faire face aux blessures que nous ne l’étions il y a un an.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Un 5 remodelé<\/h3>

Avec l’absence de Draymond Green, les Warriors n’ont eu d’autres choix que d’aligner Chris Paul, Steph Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson et Kevon Looney lors de deux matchs de pré-saison. Si on extrapole pour le match d’ouverture du 24 octobre prochain, il se pourrait que ce soit ce 5 majeur qui soit aligné face àau Big Three de Phoenix.<\/p>
