Pour remonter le moral des troupes, les Chicago Bears ont fait étalage de leurs forces, mettant fin à une longue série de 14 défaites en dominant les Commanders 40 à 20.<\/h2>

DJ Moore et Justin Fields ont réussi à sortir de leur spirale infernale de défaite pour offrir une victoire convaincante.<\/p>

Retour en forme : La vitrine offensive de Chicago<\/h3>

Au lendemain d’une défaite cuisante la semaine dernière contre Denver, où ils ont laissé filer une avance de 28-7, Chicago semblait déterminé à ne pas refaire la même chose. Leurs impressionnants 451 yards contre 388 pour les Commanders ont mis en évidence leurs prouesses offensives sur le terrain.<\/p>

Justin Fields a démontré qu’il était capable de conduire cette attaque malgré un pourcentage relativement faible, complétant 15 de ses 29 passes, accumulant 282 yards et délivrant quatre touchdowns. Souvent mis sous pression, Justin Fields a su utiliser ses jambes dans ces situation pour éviter de lancer inutilement des interceptions.<\/p>

Mais c’est D.J. Moore<\/strong><\/a> qui a volé la vedette. Moore, laissant les défenseurs dans son sillage, a accumulé 230 yards, un record en carrière, garnis de trois touchdowns. Ses performances lui ont permis de dépasser son record de 157 yards de 2018. En outre, Cole Kmet s’est également retrouvé au tableau d’affichage, grâce à une passe de 4 yards, soulignant la menace offensive à multiples facettes des Bears.<\/p>

Cependant, la soirée n’a pas été exempte d’inquiétudes. Les Bears espèrent que la blessure à la cheville de Khalil Herbert, après sa contribution de 76 yards, ne l’immobilisera pas longtemps.<\/p>

Le brio défensif scelle l’affaire<\/h3>

La défense gagne les championnats, comme le dit l’adage, et la défense de Chicago a été une force avec laquelle il faut compter. Elle a enregistré cinq sacks, une interception et une récupération de fumble. Cette performance défensive rigoureuse signifie que les Commanders, malgré leurs efforts, étaient toujours en train de courir après le match.<\/p>

Sam Howell, le quarterback des Commanders, a peut-être complété 37 de ses 51 passes, mais ses efforts ont été largement neutralisés par la défense résolue des Bears. Bien que les Commanders aient eu leurs moments, avec Logan Thomas qui a réussi neuf passes pour 77 yards et un touchdown, cela n’a pas été suffisant pour compenser la domination de Chicago.<\/p>

La défense a très bien su tenir le jeu au sol des Commanders cette nuit à tel point que les Commanders ne se sont même pas donné la peine de tenter une course en deuxième période.<\/p>

Chicago remporte donc sa première victoire de la saison, une victoire qui va sans doute faire du bien au moral de la franchise même s’il reste encore des chose à améliorer.<\/p>
