Pour la première fois de leur histoire en MLS, le FC Cincinnati remporte le Supporters’ Shield après leur victoire face à Toronto.<\/h2>

Après avoir mené la MLS<\/a> pendant la majeur partie de la saison, le FC Cincinnati est enfin récompensé avec l’obtention du Supporters’ Shield. Ce trophée récompense l’équipe ayant eu le meilleur bilan en saison régulière, toutes conférences confondues. Cincinnati obtient ce trophée à trois journées du terme de la saison régulière de MLS.<\/p>

Avec 65 points en 31 matchs<\/a>, le FC Cincinnati est désormais garanti de finir premier de la MLS et ne pas être rattrapé par ses rivaux. L’équipe bénéficiera du 1 seed en play-offs ce qui veut dire qu’ils auront des rencontres avec des équipes avantageuses par rapport à leur classement durant la saison régulière. Ils bénéficieront également de l’avantage du terrain durant tous les play-offs.<\/p>

Le FC Cincinnati est désormais la 16e équipe en 28 saisons de MLS à avoir remporté le Supporters’ Shield et la cinquième équipe encore en activité à le faire dans ses cinq premières saisons. Ce qui est d’autant plus impressionnant pour l’équipe, c’est que de 2019 à 2021, c’était la pire équipe en MLS. Cela a changé depuis l’arrivée de Luciano Acosta dans l’équipe de l’Ohio.<\/p>

La saison dernière, en 2022, le FC Cincinnati a fait une apparition en play-offs de la MLS ce qui était un énorme exploit, vu les saisons précédentes. Cincinnati a confirmé être dans la partie cette saison en effectuant un début de saison incroyable avec une seule défaite au cours des 18 premiers matchs.<\/p>

Luciano Acosta, joueur du FC Cincinnati, est un des favoris pour remporter la distinction de MVP de la saison 2023 de la MLS, avec ses 15 buts pour 13 passes décisives.<\/p>

Cincinnati peut encore viser gros dans ces trois derniers matchs de saison régulière. En effet, l’équipe peut battre le record de points inscrit par le New England Revolution en 2021 qui est de 73 points. Actuellement, Cincinnati en possède 65 avec neuf points maximum à gagner.<\/p>

En 31 matchs, le FC Cincinnati a comptabilisé 19 victoires, 8 nuls ainsi que seulement 4 défaites.<\/p>
