Après ce match perdu à domicile face aux Chiefs le week-end dernier, les Jaguars auront à cœur d’effacer cette défaite sans aucun touchdown devant leur public. De l’autre côté, on a des Texans qui sont en 0-2, dont une défaite le week-end dernier face à des Colts pourtant à leur portée. <\/span><\/h2>

Houston fait bonne impression en ce début de saison. Comme l’a dit le coach des Jaguars<\/a>, malgré la défaite à Baltimore, à la mi-temps le score était plus que serré (7-6). Et même dans la défaite la semaine dernière face au Colts, le quarterback rookie a sorti une très belle performance avec 384 yards pour 2 touchdowns et 0 interception. Le petit attention tout de même, c’est qu’il a concédé 2 fumbles. Dans le jeu aérien, il alterne plutôt bien entre trois cibles : Nico Collins, Robert Woods et le rookie Tank Dell. <\/span><\/p>

Je m’attendais à voir un peu plus de Dalton Schultz, lui qui n’a gagné que 4 yards en 2 réceptions face à Baltimore. Le réel problème de cette attaque, c’est la ligne offensive. En seulement deux matchs, CJ Stroud a subi 11 sacks. Pour le jeu de course non plus cette ligne n’est pas d’une grande aide, en témoigne la faible moyenne par course des coureurs de Houston qui est de 2.5 yards. <\/span><\/p>

Défensivement aussi c’est compliqué, mais particulièrement au sol. Avec 28 points encaissés par match, ils sont au dessus de leur standard de l’année précédente qui était de 25 points. La saison passée, c’est l’équipe qui a encaissé le plus de yards à la course avec près de 170 yards concédés à chaque match. Au dernier match, ils prennent 3 touchdowns au sol, et 1 seul dans les airs. Pour dire, le running back 1 des Colts, Zack Moss, a gagné 88 yards en seulement 18 portés, ce qui lui donne une moyenne de 4.9 yards par course. Une absence dans la défense aérienne est aussi à mentionner avec celle du cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. <\/span><\/p>

Cette semaine, la défense des Texans devra faire face au jeu de course de Travis Etienne. Auteur d’un touchdown dans le match d’ouverture face aux Colts justement, il sort d’un match où il a été bien contenu par les Chiefs. Après une saison à 6 touchdowns incluant celui qu’il a marqué en playoff, nous l’imaginons améliorer cette marque cette saison. Le jeu des Jaguars est vraiment bien varié avec un jeu de passe qui marche bien. Trevor Lawrence<\/a> prouve encore que c’est un excellent QB qui ne cesse de s’améliorer de saison en saison. 456 yards pour lui de gagnés dans les airs, qui sont distribués majoritairement entre Ridley, Kirk et le tight end Evan Engram. <\/span><\/p>

Cette attaque qui a terminé dans le top 10 des yards gagnés et des points marqués la saison dernière, doit se rattraper de son match sans touchdown, qui plus est, à domicile. Ils ont tout pour repartir du bon pied face à une des pires défenses de la ligue. Cette dernière qui a pris 25 points au premier match, 28 au second devrait prendre à minima autant de points ce dimanche. Et ça passe par un jeu de course efficace de Travis Etienne. <\/span><\/p>
