Les Padres de San Diego, menés par une performance électrisante de Blake Snell, candidat au prix Cy Young de la NL, ont presque gravé un historique no-hitter combiné contre les Rockies du Colorado mardi.<\/h2>

Bien que le no-hitter se soit envolé dans la neuvième manche, les Padres ont réussi à remporter une victoire serrée de 2 à 0.<\/p>

La domination de Blake Snell en tant que lanceur<\/h3>

Devenu l’un des principaux candidats au Cy Young Award cette saison, Blake Snell a démontré qu’il était le meilleur lanceur de la ligue. Au cours de sept manches intenses, Blake Snell a affiché une ERA de 2,33 et a enregistré un nombre impressionnant de 10 retraits au bâton sans aucun coup sûr concédé. Son dévouement était évident puisqu’il a effectué 104 lancers avant de passer le relais à Robert Suarez pour la huitième manche.<\/p>
