Les Seahawks connaissent un début difficile cette saison avec des joueurs clés, le safety Jamal Adams et le cornerback rookie Devon Witherspoon, tous deux aux prises avec des blessures avant même le début du premier match.<\/h2>

Cela présente des défis importants pour l’équipe alors qu’elle se prépare pour son affrontement de la première semaine contre un adversaire de division, les Rams de Los Angeles.<\/p>

Adams forfait, Carroll reste optimiste<\/h3>

Jamal Adams, triple Pro Bowler de 27 ans, est forfait pour la première semaine de la saison en raison d’une déchirure du tendon du quadriceps. Bien qu’il ait subi une intervention chirurgicale la saison dernière et qu’il ait été activé à partir de la liste des physiquement incapables de performer (PUP) le 24 août, Adams n’a encore pris part à aucun entraînement depuis son activation.<\/p>

L’entraîneur des Seahawks, Pete Carroll, a déclaré que l’équipe « ne va pas le pousser » à revenir en courant et qu’elle s’efforce de garantir qu’au retour d’Adams, il reste en forme sur le long terme.<\/p>

« La saison est encore longue, (donc) que ce soit les premiers matchs ou autre, je ne m’en inquiète pas », a déclaré Carroll.<\/p><\/blockquote>

Les Seahawks se sont déjà préparés pour la saison sans Adams en signant en mars l’agent libre vétéran Julian Love pour un contrat de 12 millions de dollars. Love s’est entraîné en tant que titulaire face à Quandre Diggs tout au long du camp, et l’équipe reste confiante dans sa capacité à remplacer Adams si nécessaire.<\/p>

Le statut de Witherspoon est incertain<\/h3>

Ajoutant aux défis de l’équipe, le cornerback rookie Devon Witherspoon<\/strong><\/a> est également aux prises avec une blessure aux ischio-jambiers. Le choix n°5 ne s’est pas entraîné depuis le 7 août, et Carroll a exprimé son incertitude quant à sa disponibilité pour la semaine 1, affirmant que « cela pourrait être une course » pour le préparer à temps.<\/p>

Cette situation exacerbe la pression déjà considérable sur la défense des Seahawks, qui devra se passer de deux de ses joueurs potentiellement les plus influents. On s’attend à ce que l’équipe doive s’appuyer davantage sur d’autres joueurs clés comme Diggs et le linebacker Bobby Wagner<\/strong><\/a> pour maintenir la défense solide face à ces défis.<\/p>

Malgré ces premiers revers, les Seahawks semblent aborder la saison avec un optimisme mesuré. La signature de Love indique une approche proactive de la gestion de l’équipe, et l’attitude prudente de Carroll envers la récupération de ses joueurs suggère une vision à long terme pour la saison.<\/p>

Pour l’instant, tous les regards seront tournés vers le match d’ouverture de la saison contre les Rams, un premier test critique pour une équipe confrontée à son lot de défis.<\/p>
