Bronny James, nouvellement arrivé à USC et fils de LeBron James, est sur le chemin de la guérison après un effrayant incident d’arrêt cardiaque lors d’une séance d’entraînement en juillet.<\/h2>

Cet événement inattendu a été lié à une malformation cardiaque congénitale<\/a>, découverte après des évaluations approfondies dans plusieurs centres médicaux.<\/p>

Le diagnostic<\/h3>

L’arrêt cardiaque de Bronny James a été un incident choquant qui a immédiatement soulevé des inquiétudes quant à sa santé et son avenir dans le basket-ball. Suite à une première évaluation au centre médical Cedars-Sinai de Los Angeles, il a été déterminé que la cause probable de l’arrêt cardiaque était une malformation cardiaque congénitale. Cela a été confirmé après des évaluations de suivi à la clinique Mayo et au centre médical Atlantic Health-Morristown dans le New Jersey.<\/p>

Une malformation cardiaque congénitale fait référence à toute anomalie de la structure cardiaque présente dès la naissance, résultant d’un développement inapproprié du cœur ou des vaisseaux sanguins voisins avant la naissance. Dans le cas de Bronny James, la porte-parole de la famille l’a décrit comme « une malformation cardiaque congénitale anatomiquement et fonctionnellement significative », mais a assuré qu’elle était traitable.<\/p>

La famille a exprimé sa confiance dans le rétablissement complet de Bronny James et dans son retour au basket-ball dans un avenir proche.<\/p>

La suite de sa carrière<\/h3>

Malgré ce revers, une vague d’optimisme règne quant à l’avenir de Bronny. Avant l’incident, il était arrivé à l’USC en tant qu’espoir cinq étoiles et devait être un choix de première ronde lors du prochain repêchage de la NBA.<\/p>

Il y avait même des spéculations selon lesquelles il pourrait potentiellement jouer aux côtés de son père, LeBron James<\/strong><\/a>, au niveau professionnel. Alors que les Trojans de l’USC devraient jouer le titre de la Pac-12 et une place à la March Madness, le rétablissement et le retour de Bronny sur le terrain sont attendus avec impatience. Les Trojans ont également renforcé leur effectif avec le retour du vétéran Boogie Ellis et l’ajout d’Isaiah Collier, la recrue n°1 d’ESPN dans la promotion 2023.<\/p>
